The skies are clearing up just in time for us to enjoy a bit of much-needed trail time on this holiday weekend. I think we're all ready for a bit more summer and a bit less winter...
Our fearless leader this week is Kristy, who always puts together a good, fun ride. Meet on Saturday, May 29th, 9:30am on Channel Drive, at the bottom of Cobblestone. RSVPs appreciated. The know-how to go now: beginner-friendly, everyone welcome, and no one left behind!

HillJillys Road Ride:
Saturday, May 22nd, 9:30am
Many of us are riveted to the Tour of California action this week, and eager to get out on road bikes ourselves! Suit up on Saturday morning and join the throngs of cycling enthusiasts who are remembering how much fun riding a bike is...
We did this ride about a month ago, and it was an immediate fave. This time, Kristy will lead it out from the Flying Goat in Santa Rosa's Railroad Square. It's a relatively flat road loop that heads up to Windsor via Fulton, Olivet, and Mark West and comes out to about 30 miles. RSVPs appreciated. Rain cancels!
As usual, beginner-friendly, everyone welcome, and no one left behind!

HillJillys MTB Ride:
Saturday, May 15th, 9:30am
Sonoma County is abuzz over the upcoming Tour of California and the roads are crawling with cycling illuminati... but no need to neglect our beloved mountain bikes! (Perhaps all the skinny tire mania will mean we get the trails to ourselves!)
Twyla will lead out this week's trail outing, and will surely put together a first-rate ride in Annadel. Meet on Saturday, May 15th, 9:30am on Channel Drive, at the bottom of Cobblestone. (RSVPs appreciated.) The know-how to go now: beginner-friendly, everyone welcome, and no one left behind!
Speaking of the Tour of California, and the Santa Rosa stage on Monday, May 17th: what do you have planned for race day? Consider heading downtown to the finish area, and staying afterwards for the Bike Monkey block party! Root beer floats and Lagunitas beer, Goldsprints, free tshirts, and oodles more. Get more info here.

Saturday, May 8th, 9:30am
Janelle will lead this week's skinny-tire excursion, setting out from the Flying Goat in Railroad Square. It'll be a 30-mile out-and-back ride to the Wild Flour Bakery in Freestone. We'll head to Sebastopol on the bike path and then traverse some rolling hills on the back roads to Freestone. Bring some cash for scones and coffee at the bakery!
Meet Saturday at 9:30 in Santa Rosa at the Flying Goat. RSVPs appreciated. As usual, beginner-friendly, everyone welcome, and no one left behind!
