HillJillys MTB Ride: Saturday, October 29th, 9:30am

We return to our mountain biking roots this weekend, and hit the trails at Annadel--but, girls, it's Halloween weekend, so don't be afraid to costume up a bit for this one!

HillJillys Road Ride: Saturday, October 22nd, 9:30am

As promised, we head back to the skinny tires and paved roads! Meet this weekend for one of our faves: the Bakery Ride, from the Flying Goat in Railroad Square to Wild Flour in Freestone. It's about 30 miles, rolling--and be sure to bring some cash-money for one of those famous Wild Flour scones. Yum.

HillJillys MTB Ride: Saturday, October 15th, 10am

It's true: we're doing back-to-back mountain bike rides, but it's in service of an often expressed desire for a HillJillys ride at Tamarancho. Woohoo! (Promise, we'll go back to the road next week!)

Since we're headed down to Fairfax, we're starting the ride a bit later--10am. Some important things to know about Tamarancho: allow about 2.5 hours to ride and enjoy the loop. If you've never been, know to expect numerous switchbacks and some rocks--but you'll have the Jillys on hand to help with tips and pointers to get you through them. If your Saturday is flexible, allow some time afterwards for a brew at the pub!

Tamarancho requires a pass for access; day passes are $5. You can purchase them online in advance or at bike shops in town.

Your fearless leader is finally returning after a too-long absence! We're putting the GranFondo behind us, and back to our beloved mountain bikes--these early storms will knock down that summer dust and make for some very nice trail conditions.

A huge round of welcome-back applause to Kristy! She's been down and out for most of the summer with an injury, and we're super stoked and excited to have her back. As is she!

Those busy back-soon summer days are slipping behind us, and your fearless leader has finally popped up her head! Lots of time at the beach, lots of time with family, not much time on the bike for the last few weeks... so we're going to meet up for a nice and easy road ride and see what happens.
